A Browlift, or “Forehead Lift”, is a surgical procedure to reduce the angry, lined or tired look of the brows by reducing skin and repositioning the muscles in the brow. It can create a subtle, rejuvenated appearance or a significant arch of the eyebrow.
In many cases, brow lift has now been superceded by injectable products that are able to reduce the pull of gravity on the brow, allowing it to elevate.
However, in some instances, the brow has fallen so much that surgery is required to re-suspend it into its correct position. Generally this can be achieved via a number of small incisions in the hairline, and it can be undertaken as day case surgery.
